Stumbled upon my resolution for January while making dinner for the family tonight. Planned to make a simple meal of rotis and dal (didn’t feel up to eating much more after three days of pizzas, pasta, and tacos in the Poconos), and announced the menu to the family. After seeing everyone’s enthusiastic responses, quickly googled “easy side dishes for rotis” (what did we do before the internet?!). And came up with a super duper easy recipe for kadai vegetables and paneer. Took me all of 20 minutes to make it. And, big bonus, the munchkins loved it (So did N and Amma – the donuts?!). Made me soooo happy.
So. Resolution for January: “Try Something New Everyday”. Could be a new recipe, a new route to work, making small talk with a stranger, watching a new movie, or maybe even just using a new restroom on another floor at work (seriously, I hope to do better than that, but you get the idea).
