Simple Pleasures

Spent a v. relaxing evening reading in B&N – a simple pleasure in of itself.  But this post is not about that.  While wandering the aisles, I stumbled upon a book that contained this delightful quote on Simple Pleasures by Jerome K. Jerome:

“Let your boat of life be light, packed with only what you need – a homely home and simple pleasures, one or two friends worth the name, someone to love and someone to love you, a cat, a dog, and a pipe or two, enough to eat and enough to wear, and a little more than enough to drink; for thirst is a dangerous thing. ”

Sweet, no?  Ooooh, and Bonus: Found out what the “K” stands for, in Jerome K. Jerome (after all these years!!).  You ready? (Now, now, don’t pretend that you knew it all along.)

“Klapka”. 🙂
